Peonies are so photogenic and they bloom in June here in Central New York State. This pale pink bud has not quite ready to unfurl. The colors of pink and green remind me of the colors of my college sorority from many years ago - Delta Zeta - with colors of Old Rose and Vieux green. The background is the Pantone Color of the Year, Greenery and the image has a faint texture overlay. Photography by Brooke Ryan.
