Cape Cod Charm
My family and I travel to Cape Cod every Thanksgiving. Even though summer is the more popular time to visit, we prefer to go off-season when the beaches are nearly empty and we can bundle-up and enjoy the autumn colors. South Cape Beach State Park is located in Mashpee, Massachusetts and is part of the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. There is a long stretch of gorgeous beach plus hiking trails through the woods and through the grasses between the beach and kettle ponds. Photography by Brooke Ryan.
