I have been photographing for nearly 30 years, since my Dad gave me a World War II era Argus C3 rangefinder camera. In High School I bought a vintage enlarger and worked in my basement darkroom developing black and white gelatin silver prints from my 35mm negatives. I majored in Art in college to prepare for a career as a fine art photographer, but – concerned about supporting myself - changed majors and earned a Master of Science in Health Services Administration instead, working in hospitals in Georgia, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. After putting my career on hold to raise my two daughters, I have been thrilled to once again focus on photography. I am a Juried Artist Member of the Cape Cod Art Association.
